Diagnosis

4 years ago, I was diagnosed with another lump on my thyroid gland, which was getting bigger and bigger. Several doctors told me that the only way to remove the lump was by surgery. As I had already had an operation on my thyroid gland, this would have been associated with an increased risk.

Therapy

During a special examination, I was informed about the possibility of removing the lump by means of a tissue-sparing radiofrequency ablation (RFA). This was performed on me a year ago at the Thyroid Centre.

Result

The RFA was successful and I have been free of any symptoms ever since. I would like to thank the doctors for their professional and sensitive treatment. The practice is definitely recommendable!
